The Chicago Tribune's neo-Royko writes, "With summer fast approaching, I finally have come to a sad conclusion: I am in desperate need of a bone doctor. So I called the barbecue aficionados who are hunting authentic Southern-style joints in the Chicago area. After much whining and pleading, they agreed to intercede with another member of their group, barbecue master Gary Wiviott."
